CITY OF WAUWATOSA JULY 4 INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE APPEARANCE CONFIRMATION
Dear East Bands Parents and Band Members:
As of this writing, the Red Raider Marching Band is scheduled to perform at the City of Wauwatosa July 4 Parade. As is our practice, the performance offer was accepted with the caveat that the band’s appearance is dependent upon student availability and school district staffing for the band positions at East High School. It is our expectation that if a band student is in town on July 4, they will participate in this performance. It is one of many gifts we give the community. This performance is for all students currently in the band program, grades 9-12. Graduated seniors are invited and encouraged to participate.
Simply stated, we need to know if we will have a viable band for this event.
Thank you, Robin R. Engl Jennifer Pfeffer Directors of Bands Wauwatosa East High School

A FAREWELL RECEPTION FOR ROB AND ROBIN ENGL
THURSDAY, MAY 31, 2012 6-10 PM
The Red Raider Band Boosters are hosting a retirement reception for the Engls. As many of you know, Mrs. Engl retired last year and Mr. Engl will retire at the end of this school year. Although we are sad to see them go, we want to send them off with a loving and much deserved farewell for all their years at Tosa East. So if you are a current or alumni band student or parent, this is for you!! We want to make this a special event for the Engls and give you a chance to say thank you and wish them well in their new endeavors!
WHERE Tosa Room of the Muellner Building at Hart Park. A casual evening with music, food, drinks, camaraderie and a chance to say thank you to the Engls.
We're looking for a few good... PICTURES! And stories, memories, fun tidbits, band experiences, etc.
We've already receive many pictures and stories. But we're looking for more, especially from our alumni. Pictures don't need to have the Engls in them. They know what they look like --- we want them to remember you. Any pictures or memories from any Tosa East band/jazz experiences between 1996 and 2012 will do.
Deadline for submissions is: Monday, May 14, 2012
Label photos with names, dates and locations and send your photos to: rrbbbandpics@gmail.com.
